The songs were arranged by the players. The string quartet and horn parts were written by Ford. Keiron Simons graciously sponsored the string quartet session.

Band tracks recorded by Marc L'Esperance at the House of the Roses (Bowen Island) with overdubs at Lemonloaf (Burnaby). Batterie was recorded by Veda on a 4 track on Hornby Island. The string quartet was recorded at Mushroom Studios (Vancouver), assisted by the lovely Pete Wonsiak. Mixed at Lemonloaf by Mark with Veda, Ford and June. Assembled by David with Christof and Veda. The song Born Lucky contains phrases borrowed from Franz Boas' 1895 book The Indian Myths and Legends from the North Pacific Coast of America, which I found in the Hornby Island Library and read on the unceded territories of the K'ómoks First Nation. This album also contains phrases borrowed from Haruki Murakami, Justin Kellam, Stephanie Aitken, David Byrne, and Don Pendleton.
